Came up with this, a manual, diesel, single cab 8’ box 4x4. There’s just something about big, basic 4x4 trucks that rings all my bells.
Too bad it’s over $43,000.

They are good. The older midrange trucks are today’s basic models. And they are cheaper.
Off roading that would be fun. I’m partial to extended or crew cabs, though.

I love the ram trucks configurator. I also like how Dodge lets you pick any color under the sun for your truck, straight from the factory.

I’m surprised and impressed by all the different colors. Blues and greens and reds and oranges and beiges. Like, multiple shades of each. It’s crazy.

They’re fleet colors, so buyers like the Forestry Service can have them delivered in the right color (the pale green color) instead of repainting them.

That’s cool! I think it’s nice they open it to the public too.

I’m ok with extended cabs, but Ram hasn’t had one since pre-2001. 4-doors are ok too, but my family has always had single cabs so I have an affection for them.

I thought that was cool, too. I almost want construction orange.

I mean, do you really need the limo Mega Cab? It sounds great and all, but then you realize that it causes a custom bed size, making finding things like bed caps that much more, um, a fun experience (because non-standard bed sizes == expensive)

Construction orange is easily top 3 for me. I kind of like Robin Egg too, just because I dig lighter blue on old work trucks.
